Our door to door export services include: Origin in Chile, international air, sea or land freight, destination
services in any part of the world and insurance coverage from house to house.
Description of the service step by step.
A) Once the quotation conditions are accepted, the process starts by incorporating the service into our system. An export coordinator is assigned to your care.
B) We perform the entire packing at the
residence, using first quality materials,
depending on the goods to be packed.
Silk paper is used for silverware, white paper,
double corrugated carton and bubble plastic or fragile articles,
such us pictures, crockery, ornaments. Different size boxes for toys,
clothes, miscellaneous and wardrobes for hangers.
C) Wooden crates will be made for those fragile articles, such as pictures, marble, mirrors, glasses, etc.
D) Once household goods are packed, legible inventories lists will be made in accordance with labels stuck in every package. If necessary, each package of the shipment will be weighed in residence.
E) Goods are loaded in the suitable type of container at the residence’s door. It can fit in water resistant wood (liftvans) , steel containers or trucks, depending on the route of transport chosen.
F) Containers are sealed at the residence, except that for any reason shipment needs to be picked up loose in transitory way in our trucks, which are also sealed.
G) Transportation to Ward Van Lines warehouse is immediately done after loading, where shipment remains in custody under the maximum security precautions.
H) The Export Coordinator will arrange all necessary export documents to clear the shipment out of Chile.
I) Transportation to the outbound port or airport and loading of the shipment on the vessel, airplane or truck for its international transport is done next.
J) At destination, the service includes: clearance of the shipment in the port/airport of entrance under normal conditions. Transport to the final residence, delivery up to second floor without additional charge, unpacking and accommodation of furniture. Assembling of main furniture (beds) and pickup of wasting material.
K) Return of the empty container to the port of entrance, if this is the case, within the days established by the steam shipping line (normally 5 days).
