WVL sponsors the Nido de Aguilas' PTA Tennis Tournament

Last Saturday, October 25th, WVL sponsored the first tennis tournament organized by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the International School "Nido de Aguilas". Over 50 parents participated on this event which took place at the school's tennis courts.

After the tournament, parents and teachers shared a delicious lamb barbeque "al palo", grilled outdoors, aside an open fire, which helped a bit to get away from the cold. Sebastian Laporta handed the trophy to the winner of the tournament and Horacio de La Peña did the same with the second place.

This tournament shapes up as the opening act for the Parent Teacher Tennis Club, which will have the absolute support of Horacio de La Peña as both the coach and organizer in a joint effort with the PTA. We are grateful for the opportunity that was given to us by the PTA, and particularly thank Lizzi Balart for sponsoring this event.
