PLANNING YOUR MOVE

60 days before the move:

• Arrange an appointment with our representative to perform an evaluation in your residence.( Pre move survey)
• Find out in the Consulate of the destination country all the requirements to get your Visa if you are not a returning resident.
• Give proper notice of your move to the owner of the house.

45 days before the move:

• Prepare all the documentation of your trip with enough time. Verify possible alternative routes.
• Make reservation four your flights.
• In the Embassy of the destination country you could obtain information about properties rental or sale.

30 days before the move:

• Make sure that you have your hotel reservations at destination place and in the places where you will make some visits in your trip.
• Ask the international representative of your Bank regarding funds transferring and foreign currency.
• Prepare a file of personal documents (Birth, School, Medical, Wedding Certificates, and so on) BE SURE TO HAVE THEM AVAILABLE!
• Report your change of address to your local Bank, Post Office, friends and family.

20 days before the move:

• Send to the laundry your dresses, curtains, carpets, etc.
• Make all the preparative procedures for their sale: fix prices of the articles, and make a list of the same.

15 days before the move:

• Day of the sale: to avoid price questions of each client try to get a pair of friends who can help you. Take into account the security measures at your residence.

10 days before the move:

• Close the local Bank accounts and your local credit cards.

8 days before the move:

• Notify your move to:

• Electric Company.
• Telephone Company.
• Magazines or newspapers subscriptions etc.

7 days before the move:

• Rest, you need it ! Take the day to relax, go to the hairdresser shop !
  You deserve it !

2 days before the move:

• Gather all your valuables articles such as jewelry, passports, airline tickets and cash money. Be sure to have them at hand.

1 day before the move:

• Empty and defrost the refrigerator.
• Put aside all the electrical devices and their respective parts.

• Sit down and relax and enjoy to see our experts working.
