In
Ward Van Lines work 130 employees, which
have participated in different training
programs in Chile or abroad depending on the
different areas.
The International Associations in which we
participate lecture these training programs.
Besides,
WVL is proud to be the
unique company in Latin America that has a
Training Center of its own for packers, where
they acquire during a three-month period the
needed knowledge and attitude to place
themselves for the service of our clients in a
serious and responsible way, capable of inspiring confidence, which is the key of our services.
The supervisors, are also evaluated periodically.
In these cases the “Quality Committee” of our company
gives extreme importance to maintain an optimum service level.
We divide the training/ programs in three categories:
A) National: Our executives and employees
share training and information with the following national Organizations
that offer courses and seminars related:
- Universidad de Chile.
- SOFOFA.
- Cámara de Comercio de los Estados Unidos (AMCHAM).
- Cámara Chileno-Australina de Comercio.
- Cámara de Comercio Chileno-Canadiense A.G.
- Cámara Chileno-Argentina de Comercio.
- Cámara de Comercio de Santiago.
- Cámara Oficial Española de Comercio de Chile A.G.
B) International: our executives
receive training abroad, especially in the International moving
associations (FIDI institute, OMNI, LACMA, etc). This
training covers knowledge in areas such as accounting,
executives, sales, traffic and operations. The main
objective is that the trainee. Acquire the complete knowledge
from a to z of all processes related in a move. These courses
are performed normally in Europe and are lectured by professors
from the best companies of the world that have a vast experience
in the industry.
C) Permanent training: our packers
receive a constant training directed by WVL professionals
in our facilities and by Lacma Packers Program abroad.
We keep them updated in packing innovations and continuously
aware about new techniques that help to get a more safe and
effective packing. Besides, they receive special instruction
in the handling and transport of Art Works, which requires
an extreme care mainly due to the high cost of them.
