As Ward Van Lines main goal is to reach excellence, it is mandatory and a constant rule to always select international agents who also participate in the same organizations, which demand apart from service; quality, financial stability, training, infrastructure, etc. In order to get a complete and warm knowledge among the worldwide agents every association performs an annual convention. Ward Van Lines participates in each of them, wherever they are. This also helps and guarantee our clients the quality of services provided all over the world.


Our most important International Memberships:

FIDI (Federation International de Demenageurs Internationaux)
This is the only Federation of the industry, being the one that rules the quality standards that a moving company must have. To provide the FAIM Certification( FIDI Accredited International Mover) to a moving company, FIDI, with headquarters in Belgium has required Ernst & Young to audit all the process in each company every two years.
This certification is the equivalent to an ISO 9000 focused exclusively to this industry. Ward Van Lines was the first company that obtained this accreditation in Chile, demonstrating once more the compromise it has for being always leaders in excellence. Mr. Jorge Laporta, our Managing Director was appointed FIDI worldwide President in the period 2000-2002, being today Past President and active Member of FIDI Consulting Committee.

OMNI (Overseas Moving Network International)
Corporation with headquarter in London. It gathers exclusively the most qualified Worldwide Moving Companies, (only 260 companies in 70 countries) and its mission is to provide the finest moving service. Our Mr. Jorge Laporta our Managing Director, also had the privilege of being Director of this corporation for 4 years.

LACMA (Latin American and Caribbean Moving Association )
It is the association representing all Latin-American countries in FIDI . Well respected all over the world, LACMA represents the Latin character, and permanent innovation, being emphasized by the strong bonds that join their members.

HHGFAA (Household Goods Forwarders Association of America)
This is the largest association of the world. It gathers 1800 companies in 160 countries. The headquarters are in Washington DC.


IATA (International Air Transport Association.)
It is the instrument for the cooperation and regulation between airlines promoting security, reliability and economy in the air transport in benefit of consumers.
